Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, DreadInertia. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Devolver Digital, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. I have reverted some of your additions to lack of sourcing and obvious COI'd phrasing. I will re-add some of this shortly, but should you plan on adding more, please consult the talk page first to iron out any issues with COI-less parties. Lordtobi () 10:42, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Going through your edits in-depth, I'd like to address specific issues. Please a look at this edit, the section you added only talks about how great Devolver Digital is. It's great, no doubt, but this is not content, at least not in this format, for an article on an encyclopedia. Much of this wording also sounds like it's directly taken from a press release. This contradicts Wikipedia's guidelines to advertisements and COI editing (WP:ADVERT). In this edit, you introduced a run-down of the games released released by Devolver in recent years; while it did include five sources, it were 20 new paragraphs, and over 80% of content added was unsourced. This is strictly against Wikipedia's verifiability guidelines (see WP:V). If you would like to get an specific detail added or corrected, please do not shy away to place an edit request on the article's talk page. Regards, Lordtobi () 14:06, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
